Term Definition
Barbarians

Many years ago, a group of players were chosen to form an elite team. These players had no ground, no clubhouse or subscription and membership was by invitation only. The idea of this elite team was to spread good fellowship amongst all rugby football players. It became of feature of the great touring sides of the southern hemisphere would play against the Barbarians on the last game of their tour playing to sell out crowds allowing the touring sides to take part in 'the final challenge'

Broad Street School

Broad Street school was the original school in Foleshill, Coventry from which the originators of Broad Street Old Boys Rugby Club attended. The club later dropped the old boys title and joined the Broad and Street together to form Broadstreet RFC

Broadstreet Rugby Football Club

Broadstreet RFC currently play their rugby in the National League III Midlands League which is currently Level 5 of the English RFU structure. The Club play their home games at the Ivor Preece Field, in Binley Woods, Coventry.
