Ivor Preece (15 December 1920 - 14 March 1987) attended Broad Street school, Foleshill playing Fly Half for Broad Street Old Boys, Coventry Rugby Club, England and the British and Irish Lions. He is the only Coventry Rugby Club player to have captain Club and Country both at schoolboy and senior level . He was selected to play with the British and Irish Lions, on their tour to New Zealand and Australia in 1950. |
