Broadstreet Rugby Club 3rd XV 'The Bash Street Kids' Journey continues as the club endeavour to become the first 3rd XV to win the Coventry and Mid Warwickshire 2nd XV Cup. The Street youngsters with a few experienced older players see themselves facing Earlsdon RFC in a final where Street aim to settle a few points that they have, as Earlsdon Rugby Club were just like the Italians and waving the white flag just before the action was about to start in the last fixture between the two clubs. However they still managed to raise a third team to play Old Coventrians.
The game is to be played at Barkers Butts RFC's (Colditz Castle) Pickford Grange Lane Ground Match Kick off time is 7pm. Lets get behind the boys with a big turnout at Colditz. Just make sure that you are ready to dig the tunnel and escape!
Broadstreet sealed their route to the final with entertaining wins over Stoke Old Boys RFC and then Dunlop RFC, Earlsdon defeated Old Coventrians RFC in their semi final 6-0 described on their website as a game for the rugby purist. Lets hope we get entertaining rugby and see you there.
