Tough Midlands Derby Battle

LEE Crofts insists his team are in for a much sterner test this weekend than the one that brought victory on the opening day.
The Broadstreet head coach professed himself pleased with the performance in last Saturday’s 37-15 win over Bradford & Bingley but is refusing to go over the top.
The former Coventry back row knows the prospect of playing a local derby at Leicester Lions is much more difficult and he has told his men to expect a battle.
“I don’t think Bradford were particularly strong,” Crofts said.
“There are going to be a lot stronger teams in this league so we can’t get carried away.
“Leicester are going to be a lot tougher up front.
“When you win like we did you can neglect your defence but we’ve made sure we haven’t in training because I expect Leicester to have a lot more possession.”
Crofts will give a late fitness test to winger Jordan Simpson.
