simon_morrisThe Street go into tomorrow’s game against Fylde with a 100 per cent record but, according to head coach Lee Crofts, without the element of surprise.

National league Two North’s new boys have won both of their opening two fixtures, the second of which was a gutsy two-point victory at fancied Leicester Lions last Saturday.

And Crofts thinks his team’s early season success will have alerted rivals to take care when they visit the Ivor Preece Field.

“Most people usually expect the promoted team to be one of the easier fixtures but after winning our first two games, opponents are going to start hard,” Crofts warned.

“I am pleased with the results but more so the style of play, we are never going to have the biggest pack in the division but we are trying to play loose and wide.”

Crofts hopes to make just one change to the side that beat the Lions with Simon Morris coming in for Owen Jones in the back row.
