Luey_HallHAVING romped to a half-century haul against rock-bottom Hull Ionians last week, Broadstreet are steeling themselves for a daunting home duel with Macclesfield tomorrow.

The Cheshire men currently hold second place, having reeled off three successive victories since their 23-22 defeat at leaders Lough–borough Students on the opening day of the season.

“It will obviously be a very tough game,” said Street spokesman Stuart Hall, “but we played well last week and we are at full-strength and looking forward to it.

“It’s still very early days in terms of the league table so it would be wrong to jump to any conclusions. All you can do is make sure that you are as well prepared as possible whoever you happen to be playing.”

There will be a familiar face in the Macclesfield line-up – winger Josh Fowles turned out for Street during his university days.
