‘Street Colts Reap Farming College Sevens Title

Saturday 17th April saw Broadstreet Rugby Club's teenagers as guests at the Warwickshire College (Moreton Morrell) Sevens as a combination of Colts and Junior Colts turned out on the back of just two sevens training sessions.
The annual event saw teams from farming colleges as far away as Kent taking part but none troubled ‘Street as they sailed through group and semi-final matches to set up a local derby final against fellow guests, Rugby Lions Colts.
Lions proved no match for the ‘Street Boys, who romped home 33-0, scoring 5 tries, with flyer Richard Smith notching a hat-trick.
