Broadstreet’s Youth Rugby setup has been radically changed for next season and former head coach, Bob Harcourt has been asked to head up this departure from the status quo. The highly qualified and experienced Harcourt who is also coaches with Warwickshire RFU Under 20’s squad will take up the challenge immediately and will start to plan Broadstreet’s new Youth Structure. Encompassed in the scheme is Broadstreet’s Under 16’s, Under 17’s and Colts squads with Harcourt taking an umbrella and hands?on role over all three squads.

This is an exciting move for Broadstreet who hope to improve and develop the rugby skills for these young players transfer seamlessly into senior rugby.
Fully qualified team coaches will support Harcourt whose official title will be ‘Youth Rugby Development Coordinator’. He will also work closely with Broadstreet’s and Warwickshire current head coach, Lee Crofts to ensure the rugby ethos, skills and style is driven downwards to the youth teams.
Broadstreet want to build on its recent success and have identified that youth players of all abilities are often ill equipped with the skills necessary for senior rugby, which has led them to adopt this new organizational structure. With the goal of producing consistent colts teams feeding well coached players into their
senior sides.
Building on its current policy of having senior coaches and players assisting coaching and mentoring its junior players now have the revamped youth structure to complete the rugby skills route for its young players.
