A POPULAR and long-serving teacher at a Coventry school and Coach at Earlsdon rugby club has died suddenly in his sleep aged 55. Clark McCallum was a PE teacher at Coundon Court School for more than 20 years. Clark McCallum, a PE teacher at Coundon Court School, died of a heart attack on Tuesday morning.

The staff of Coundon Court school wish to let people know of a special fixture this saturday.

I would like to invite all interested persons to attend a rugby match against a touring side from Southampton run by Clark McCallums nephew (Scott) on Saturday 13th March at Coundon Court, 10am KO.  Scott has said he would like to play the fixture, therefore we will honour it!

If you would like to attend could you please try to car share, walk, cycle as this could well be a popular event and try to park sensibly in designated areas only!!!!

As a result of this game our games vs King Henry VIII will be cancelled and the yr7/10 and 11 will be invited to attend the game, parents also. We would like to have a minutes, 'round of applause' as a mark of respect for our dear friend and colleague.

Clark jnr and hopefully his wife, Lorna, will be attending also and they have given their blessing......it would be fantastic to get a great turn out so Lorna could see what Clark meant to so many people. If you can attend it would be lovely to see you!
