Scunthorpe Rugby Club have been promoted to National league Midlands III after they finished the season 2009 - 2010 as champions of Midlands 1 East League winning 21 out of 26 games. They had Rewiti Vaimoso and Captain Thomas Foster joint top scorers with 19 tries each, and Dave Garbutt closely behind on 18 tries. Mark Woollard converting 75 conversions and 47 penalties totalling 291 points.The side featured a strong pack with a mobile back row
