Broadstreet Look To Improved Player Availability
This Saturday Broadstreet RFC welcome Hereford RFC to Ivor Preece Field, Coventry for Week Five of the National League Three Midlands programme, hoping for the return of a number of influential players from illness and injury.
Heading the illness list last Saturday was Openside Flanker Simon Morris, but unfortunately it was added to with the in-match retirements of both Left Wing Brett Chatwin and Blindside Flanker Stewart Hendry.
The injury list has included Number 8 Damian Taylor, Scrum-Half Mark Schropfer, Hooker Luke Truslove and Tight-Head Prop Nick Bingham, but Physio Tim Trevail was also extremely busy on Tuesday evening in the treatment room with a number of additional walking wounded.
Let's hope that we can soon return to a clean-bill-of-health and a return to playing rugby to bolster our league performances.
