warwickshire_rugby_logoWhilst clubs in the county are regrettably experiencing a slight dip in performance and league positions, Broadstreet would like to reward those who have stuck by their teams by offering concessions to the steadfast local supporter.

Any spectator who comes to a Broadstreet home match bearing the Season Ticket of another Warwickshire club other than the opposition will be granted a 50% reduction on their admission price. This will reduce the fee to £2.50 for adults and £1 for OAPs and Students.

This deal for the dedicated rugby fan will begin on the 16th October when Broadstreet will face local rivals Kenilworth at The Ivor Preece Field and will continue throughout the rest of the season. The intention of the scheme is to provide an opportunity for those supporters who are unable to travel away with their respective teams, to still be able to experience an afternoon of good local rugby. It also adds incentive for supporters to invest in a season ticket with their own club, especially when its value is respected at other clubs within the county. With the recent upheavals caused by relegations and player movements, we hope any old animosities have been reduced, we at Broadstreet are particularly proud of a number of our former players who are now performing admirably for other local teams and we wish them all the best of luck.

With Coventry away to Barking on the 16th, we would like to offer the opportunity for Coventry supporters to watch the ‘on loan’ players from Coventry who have not yet featured in the National 1 side, as well as catch up with former Coventry players who have dropped a couple of divisions. The ‘Street versus Kenilworth matches are always tense and exciting so please feel free to join us in what will most likely be a great showcase for Warwickshire rugby.

What a great idea! I agree that old animosities are dissolving. Let's make sure that the great game of Rugby Football is the winner.
