Broadstreet Mini Rugby Festival This Sunday.
Annual Mini Rugby Festival Sunday 17th October.
This Sunday, 17th October, sees the Annual Broadstreet Mini Rugby Festival which is held at Broadstreet RFC's Ivor Preece Field rugby ground. Teams in the age groups of Under 7s through to Under 12s will be arriving to play rugby at 10am on Sunday Morning. All the mini rugby teams will be given that special Broadstreet welcome playing mini rugby all day against all of the participating teams.
Thanks to our Rugby Referees
No Mini Rugby Festival is complete without the contribution of referees. Broadstreet are especially grateful to the Warwickshire Referees Society and their members who selflessly give their time, skill and energy. Parents please remember that age old rugby adage in that the 'Referee is always right, and, in fact, is never more right than when he is wrong.'
Supporting Broadstreet Boys and Girls
If you wish to come and cheer-on the Broadstreet Boys and Girls, then the rugby fun will start at 10:00am, with age groups separated so that the children play on specific pitches. Let's hope that the weather holds out as the forecast is currently for sunny intervals and a pleasant, for this time of the year, 13 degrees.
Dedicated Volunteers
The Mini Rugby Festival is organised by a dedicated group of Broadstreet mini rugby club parents and volunteers, for the benefit of grassroots rugby and young players learning to play the game of rugby football. We would like to thank all of those people involved in making the Rugby Festival happen.
