Broadstreet RFC Centre Andrew Skene has been added to what might have been, for just a brief moment, an almost clean bill-of-health for the Backs with the imminent return of Full Back Tom Stokes and Centre Jordan Simpson, both of who are cautiously optimistic that another week in the treatment room will see them fully prepared for action. While both are hoping to be available, they will nevertheless undergo stringent fitness tests with Physio Tim Trevail before being permitted to resume. Centre Gary Challis is nursing a slight injury, but not enough to keep him out. |
| Better news though for Forwards' availability with Tighthead Prop Nick Bingham, Second Row Tom Greevy and Blindside Flanker Damian Taylor all set to return to the starting line-up straightaway. Loosehead Prop Ben Dawes has a couple of niggling problems, but expects to shake them off, leaving Backrower Stewart Hendry a week away and just Hooker Luke Truslove on the long-term injury list |
| With Street Seconds having had a blank Saturday last weekend, as a result of the cry-off by Nuneaton Old Edwardians RFC, carry-over contenders gunning for First Team slots remain Flanker Chris Zutic, Flanker Chris Dodd, Scrum Half Jamie Dodd, Wideman Dan Phillips and Wing Edward Mbaraga. Another interesting entrant to the field and dark horse could be Fly Half Mark Rea - with yet-to-be-announced news, he may get a chance sooner, rather than later. |
