Broadstreet Rugby Club Firsts Scupper Scunthorpe RFC.

Having suffered two successive league defeats, Broadstreet RFC today fight back in the fourth quarter of an exciting National League 3 Midlands clash at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground that is not as clear cut as the scoreline may suggest. With a healthy Half Time lead, Street step out for what is to be an easy ride in the Second Half. Scunthorpe RFC have other ideas and come back with 21 unanswered points to momentarily take the lead. Ultimately Street put enough points on the board to prevent a third straight loss, winning 58-34.

This fixture has been transferred to Coventry as Street's facilities are to be used for the Daily Mail Schools Competition in March, so Street will now visit Scunny's Heslam Park Ground in the spring for the return fixture.Broadstreet-RFC-First-Team-Image

This game was switched to the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground as the Ks faced fixture congestion at their Glasshouse Lane headquarters.
Street Seconds, comfortably in the lead early in the third quarter of this Midlands Invitation Premiership League match, pay the penalty for allowing the game to descend into a scrappy affair towards the end - Kenilworth RFC take advantage with the last move of the game to scrape a 29-26 win.
