The ever-present prop Ben Dawes, a consistent performer with a habit of scoring tries. After being ‘bought’ last week, Dawes has already turned in a MoM performance and bagged his 5^th try of the season and is obviously a prospect that you can bet your house on.

Lightning Aerospace had their pick of the 1^st XV’s wingers to encapsulate the speed and dynamism that is conveyed by their company name. However, they have instead opted for powerful back-rower Nigel Mukarati who would argue that he has all the speed he needs.

Nigel has been one of Broadstreet’s star performers for the last few seasons and this consistency is what ‘sparked’ interest from Coventry RFC and he signed for them in the summer. Broadstreet is proud of the long list of players who have progressed from our club to play for our city and we all assumed that Nigel would join them, unfortunately he has not yet been given the opportunity to play in National 1. Frankly their loss is our gain and he has picked up where he left off for the club, scoring 6 tries since his return on loan.
