current-5-day-forecast

Broadstreet this weekend take on Peterborough RFC in National League 3 midlands, Top of the table Broadstreet Beavers take on Barkers Butts RFC in Warwickshire 1, and the colts take on Dudley Kingswinford With the overnight forecast for Friday through to Saturday said to be down to -5C it is looking increasingly likely that the matchs will be off. However, this is yet to be confirmed by a late pitch inspection. For now all of the match's are still on.

Even if the matchs are postponed the club will be open, we have our former players luncheon celebrating 40 years of colts rugby at Broadstreet RFC and the Barbarians game against South Africa at Twickenham available on the big screen.

The South Africa team remain a formidable one, led of course by the frightening John Smit and boasting players of the calibre of BJ Botha, Alistair Hargreaves, Francois Louw, Zane Kirchner, Bjorn Basson and Meyer Bosman

Australia utility back Matt Giteau will captain the Barbarians. The 28-year-old will be making his third appearance in four years for the Baa-Baas, but will skipper the side for the first time.
