Broadstreet RFC Firsts make the short journey to the Glasshouse Lane headquarters of Kenilworth RFC for what should be game nineteen of the National League 3 Midlands campaign. With severe disruption to the fixture list due to snow and freezing conditions in November & December and then the inundation of Hereford RFC's Wyeside pitch a fortnight ago, this game now represents the start of the second half of the season - game fourteen out of twenty-six. Of course, on a nationwide basis, the rugby programme has been decimated, but Street still find themselves two games behind almost all of the teams in National League 3 Midlands. |

The Ks are having a difficult season with just seventeen points gained so far from fifteen games with two wins at home and one away. Leading scorer Adam Canning, who has proved to be an excellent pre-season recruit from Old Leamingtonians RFC, has a 117 point haul to date, mainly from his prodigious boot, but also with five tries to his name. Kenilworth's Backs feature most prominently in the try list with Full Back Dave Clements having scored seven, experienced Wing Mike Rust six and Scrum Half Gareth Renowden five. |
