Broadstreet Rugby Club First Team host Old Northamptonians RFC in a National League 3 Midlands fixture at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground at 2:15 pm this Saturday. Bearing in mind that this is their first ever expedition at this level, newly promoted ONs are having a very successful season. They have come out on top in more than half of their fourteen games so far with eight victories and sit with a very healthy sixteen point cushion above their nearest challengers Scunthorpe RFC, who in turn lead a group of five teams seemingly becoming detached at the foot of the table. |

Continuing their early season pattern, Old Northamptonians’ Backs overshadow their Forwards on a three to one ratio for try-scoring exploits, with Wing Matt Ireland touching down seven times, Full Back Will Kingston six and Wing Richard Blank five. Fly Half Alex Rose is second in the Division’s scoring list with 130 points, 125 from coming from his trustworthy boot. One of ONs’ highlights came a few weeks ago in putting more than fifty points past Peterborough RFC. |

Street Seconds travel to Blaby to face always competitive Leicester Lions RFC, who will no doubt be smarting from their emphatic 5-38 defeat at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground in early November. This Invitation Premiership league fixture is scheduled to start at 2:15 pm and Street for their part, will be aiming to return to winning ways after last Saturday's home reverse by a really strong Old Northamptonians RFC second string. | ![]() |

Street Beavers travel to Bilton to face Old Laurentians RFC in a top of the table Warwickshire 1 League clash which will heavily influence which of these two fine sides will become Champions. In the fixture earlier in the campaign at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground, Street scored a dramatic late winner to come through 20-18, so OLs will be eager to exact revenge in a game with a 2:15 pm kick-off. |
