Old Northamptonians RFC Complete The Double Over Broadstreet RFC. |
|
| Coventry rugby club Broadstreet RFC come up against an uncompromising Old Northamptonians RFC side in a National League 3 Midlands clash at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground that could have gone either way. Having built up a slender 10-3 half time lead, Street inexplicably fail to ground the ball on ONs' line next to the posts to establish a two score advantage. Thereafter Street huff and puff to no great avail and two flashes of individual brilliance consign Street to a 10-20 defeat, leaving ONs to return to Billing Road having completed the double. | ![]() |

S treet Beavers slump to a 19-26 defeat against closest rivals Old Laurentians RFC leaving no room for error in the final run in for the Championship of Warwickshire 1. Street suffer two nasty injuries to keep the A&E Department at University Hospital, Walsgrave at full stretch. Loper (Chris Harrison) has a suspected broken eye socket and Stuart Crawford suffers a suspected tibia and fibula break. We wish them both a full and speedy recovery. |
