Opportunities for new coaches to be involved with the Warwickshire SoR
Warwickshire School of Rugby
Coaching Roles
The Warwickshire School of Rugby (SoR) are looking to recruit a number of new coaches to assist with the ongoing development of young players at the School of Rugby.
The SoR is an RFU initiative to help identify players at age groups U13 to U16 with potential to develop into the best players in the County and Country. It is a step towards the England RFU academy based at Worcester Warriors. The SoR is not based on team performance but on coaching individual players to develop the best talent. It is not the same as the Warwickshire age group squads but by inference most players at the SoR should also be involved in the CB squads.
The SoR has now been running successfully for 4 years and it is an ideal opportunity for coaches to develop their own skills and career. Further details can be found on the RFU’s website at:- http://www.rfu.com/TakingPart/Coach/CoachingSchoolsOfRugby.aspx
You can find a summary of the role description and person specification here.
This voluntary commitment will be to one session per month, presently on Sundays but this is to be reviewed shortly.
If you are interested in this opportunity please forward a brief coaching CV to:-
