Street welcome South Leicester RFC, the Seconds host Bromsgrove RFC, the Beavers entertain Old Leamingtonians RFC and the Colts play away at Old Coventrians RFC on Sunday in the Semi-Final of the Warwickshire Colts Cup.

south-leicester-rugby-clubt Broadstreet RFC recognise that South Leicester RFC will be looking to exact revenge on Saturday at 3:00 pm at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground in an important National league 3 Midlands fixture.  South Leicester are very much still in with a shout for elevation to National League Two, hoping for an automatic promotion place or qualification for the Level Five Play-off between North and Midlands.  Street edged it in the third game of the season, way back in September, with an exciting 36-34 win at South's Welford Road HQ in Wigston.
With South's newly-formed side, it was plain to see on the day they had very talented side that had yet to gel.  Street were very much at the top of their game and brought on replacement Brett Chatwin in the 55th minute, when five points down, who proceeded to turn a very entertaining game Street's way with two excellent tries, the second of which was converted with almost the last move of the match by Cameron Pimlow.  Since then South have managed to keep in the promotion hunt and are currently second in the league table with everything to play for.  Arguably, South have the most difficult run-in of the promotion candidates though, as they have already completed all their home fixtures and face four consecutive away games, starting with the Street this Saturday.  South can be expected to put up a determined fight for those precious league points and consequently Street will need to be at their very best to deny them.
South Leicester have a number of players featuring highly in the league's scoring charts, both for kicking accomplishments and for try-scoring.  Dead-eye Fly-Half Mark Lord heads the league's points scoring exploits with 253 points from 70 conversions, 26 penalties and 7 tries. Giving testament to the fact that South have easily scored far more tries at Centre than any other team in the league, Centre/Wing Matt Fisher is in fourth spot in the league's top try scoring list with 18 touchdowns to his name, ably assisted by Centre Nick Childs (9) and Centre Connor Smith (8).  Chris Bale has chipped-in impressively with tweve tries of his own playing No.8. clubhouse
