Coventry rugby club Broadstreet RFC win through against a determined, but ultimately very limited Peterborough RFC side in a game of two distinct halves in National League 3 Midlands at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground. It is probably fair to say that Street can be accused of offering-up in the first half one of the most inept performances witnessed in many a year. Individual errors abounded. Nothing seemed to go right, until a centre-field break by Nick Thatcher four minutes from Half-Time put Chris Zutic in under the posts. Five converted tries plus a penalty in the Second-Half restored some respectability to Street's scoreline but merely emphasised that if Street had performed even just adequately in the first period, a cricket score might well have ensued. Although kicking conditions were nigh on perfect, a mention is warranted that Jack Howland didn't miss a kick all afternoon in scoring 21 points.
