On the 19th June at Nuneaton Cricket Club, which is adjacent to Nuneaton Old Edwardians RFC,, a Warwickshire Referees XI is set to face a Warwickshire Players XI in aid of County President Bob Jones' charity, the Multiple Sclerosis Society. We are looking for as much support prior to and on the day as possible. As well as hoping to receive a number of raffle and auction items, we are also looking for sponsorship from business men or anyone else who can help financially. The amounts are not massive (unless you feel particularly generous), for example £45 for a match ball, £60 for teas, sponsored white polos, t-shirts,a donation towards ground hire, etc. Please contact me at Smudgerref69@sky.com ASAP.
See you all on the day. Regards Dave Smith, aka Smudger.
MS affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other. There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis.
If you would like to help proceedings by sponsoring some part of this fund-raising day for such a worthy cause, please contact Dave Smith.
