Andrew Skene is a product of Broadstreet RFC’s Mini & Junior section and has been playing for the senior sides for the last 13 years. After playing mostly in the outside backs at Fullback or Wing, Andrew played most of last season at Inside Centre.  Originally, he changed position to cover for injuries and a lack of numbers, however, after a couple of early games in which he proved his worth with hard tackles and powerful running, he may well find himself playing closer to the pack once again this season.  Andrew follows in the footsteps of his father Richard (former Club Chairman) and his elder brother Simon (former Club Captain) in playing for the First Team and is sure to continue making a valuable contribution to Broadstreet RFC in years to come.
