Street Under 9s Romp to Victory.
On an unseasonally hot and sunny autumn Sunday, Broadstreet RFC Under 9s emerge from the Rugby Lions RFC Annual Mini & Junior Festival Competition as impressive winners of their age group.
Tasting success in four out of their five games, their only blemish is a narrow 0-10 reverse to Berkswell & Balsall RFC. Victories of 30-5 versus Syston RFC, 30-5 vs Rugby Lions RFC, 25-5 vs Old Coventrians RFC and 15-5 vs Leamington RFC are a testament to benefits accruing from all the hard graft and skills training put in under Coaches Carl, Paul and Frank.
Ben Irving can be proud of himself, having been chosen as the Under 9s Player-of-the-Tournament.
