New Signing.

Broadstreet have found a big pot of gold in the form of new Second Row signing Shane Stokes.  The Munster man has signed from UL Bohemian RFC, Limerick's premier Rugby Club who compete in Division 1 of the AIB National Rugby League.  At 6ft 8ins and over 18 stones, Shane definitely stands out at the bar at Broadstreet, a 1st team which over the last twenty years has surely earned a reputation as one of the National League's shortest Rugby Clubs.

23 year old Shane has played rugby all his life and earned recognition in his native province, representing Munster Schools U18s and Munster Colleges.  It has to be said that the big man could be a welcome sight in a pack that has been completely out-sized in every match this season and has struggled in securing their own set plays.
