What A Difference A Year Makes.
Current weather conditions almost sultry compared to twelve months ago.
Thursday 25th November 2010 marked the start of spectacularly cold weather conditions that led to an almost blanket postponement of rugby fixtures for six weeks in the Midlands and North.
Heavy snow on 25th, was followed by sub-zero temperatures that decimated the scheduled programme of games for 27th November and with weeks of continuing below zero temperatures, vitually all matches north of a line drawn from Norwich to Gloucester fell foul to the bitter weather for the remainder of November and December.

We may well have had picture postcard weather conditions for all those weeks, but the travel disruption and frozen pitches resulted in nothing but boredom for rugby followers with such a long period of enforced inactivity.
With 15 degrees centigrade being predicted for the southern part of the Midlands parts tomorrow, Saturday 26th November, we could hardly have it more different.
But we don't know what's around the corner, do we?
