Barkers Butts RFC formed in 1947 when Daimler RFC ceased to exist and the first side was led by Coventry rugby stalwart John Gardiner. Barkers have been at their home off Pickford Grange Lane ever since 1975, prior to this they were initially based on Northbrook Road in the Keresley area of Coventry. Kenilworth Rugby Club have recently appointed Headcoach Jason Button former Leicester Lions player and level 3 RFU coach. Kenilworth Rugby Club also appointed Andy Ellis an accredited UKSCA coach putting into place a conditioning programme for all players, these are joined by Forwards Coach John Munro .
