KENILWORTH V BROADSTREET  MIDLANDS 2 WEST. 22/4/2006.

SUMMARY.

The end of a long hard season.  Kenilworth must dread playing us after being flattened for the third time this season.  Kenilworth came out half asleep, with ‘Street scoring twice

in the first four minutes, with Jordan Simpson and then Ben Shepherd touching down.  Chris Brown converted to make the score 0 – 12.

And so it went on, with ‘Street playing all their rugby in Kenilworth’s half.  Tom Greevy, Ben Shepherd and Jordan Simpson all added to the score, with Chris Brown converting two, and kicking a penalty.  This brought the half time score to 0 - 26.

The second half was much the same with Chris Brown kicking a penalty after six minutes.  The referee decided to even it up a bit then, by penalising ‘Street all the way to their line, for Kenilworth’s number 8, Eager, to go over, converted by Cassell.

Score 7 – 34.

‘Street then went to town, playing some superb rugby with Ben Shepherd getting his third from a super move and pass from Dan Phillips. Converted by C. Brown. Score 7 – 41.

Then Steve Hughes and Tom Greevy touching down again, with Brown converting to bring the score to 7 – 55, before a lapse on full time allowed Kenilworth’s Eager to touch down with Cassell to convert.

Final Score 14 – 55.
