11 Colts added to Senior  Squad

Broadstreet RFC today confirmed that 11 Colts from last year have confirmed their intention to stay with the club and have been promoted to the Senior Squad.

Last season the Colts matched the first team by winning the Warwickshire Cup and their League and after such a successful season will be a welcome addition when training starts on Tuesday 4^th July.

Paul Hurst, Broadstreet RFC Head coach, added ‘ To be able to feed our senior squad with talented youngsters is critical for the future success of the club.  Last year the Colts were exceptional and I am really excited to have a closer look at them during pre season. Having such a large number will really bolster the development team this year and last season we saw two former colts, Scott Truslove and Sam Harcourt, break into the first team and make valuable contributions to the teams success, so the pathway is there for all 11 of them’
