Broadstreet 1st XV Fixtures For 2014-15.
Tough Baptism for Broadstreet.
What was already a testing set of opening fixtures, has become even tougher. With newly promoted Street drawn to play in the first few games, Sedgley Park RFC, Chester RFC and Birmingham & Solihull RFC, respectively, 4th, 5th and 6th from last season, plus the previous season's champions, Hull Ionians RFC, Street have now had to switch the second match from home at Rugby Road to away at Portway - many thanks to Birmingham & Solihull for doing so writes Lee Stanton..
Street will open the season by hitting the road for three consecutive weeks with trips to Manchester, Birmingham and Preston, before welcoming Hull Ionians to the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground at the end of September. Then it's back northwards up the M6 to Chester for the first game of October.
Nevertheless, we will have to play these games at some time during the season, so onwards and upwards!
