Broadstreet Announce The Signing Of Lee Chapman
Lee Chapman Signs for Broadstreet.
Broadstreet RFC have secured their second new signing of the summer with former England Under 16s Fly Half Lee Chapman signing to play for the Street this coming season. Chapman formerly played at National League 3 Midlands rivals Nuneaton RFC, together with Birmingham & Solihull RFC and Coventry RFC. Lee, who scored a considerable 364 points in 50 games over two years with the Nuns, can operate at both Fly Half and Full Back. The 23 year old is a former Midlands Under 20s captain and is looking forward to playing at the Ivor Preece Field Rugby Ground this season. Chapman joins new Player Coach Stewart Pearl, while Director of Rugby, Paul Harcourt continues strengthening the playing squad in Binley Woods. Paul is beginning to see some return on the strength and structure of his recently appointed coaching team, but with strong 1st XV and Development XV fixture lists in prospect, continues to search for additional players to complement these two excellent signings.
Featuring in the Broadstreet retained list currently are Prop Forward Ben Dawes, Scrum Half and Captain Nick Thatcher and Wing Forwards Simon Morris and Chris Zutic.
