2015 promises to be rugby’s biggest year, and from 10th June until 31st October people everywhere, regardless of where they live or what their involvement in rugby is, will be able to get involved and celebrate the game through the Festival of Rugby 2015. From concerts and carnivals to street parties and stand-up comedy, rugby events around the UK can be part of the Festival of Rugby 2015, and it couldn’t be easier to get involved.
There will be a wide range of events taking place as part of the Festival of Rugby 2015 and as long as you can incorporate a rugby element or theme into your event, be it through food, culture, décor or hosting the event at your local rugby club, you can be part of the programme. Broadstreet RFC have elected to go with a Touch Rugby Tournament for both Male and Females from the age of 15 years old.
Anyone fancy entering a team for a rugby touch tournament Friday 17th July. 14yr old upwards all abilities mixed teams etc. Coaches and parents etc
Alternatively commit to play and join a team on the night.
Aged 15 or above, then please come and have some fun playing touch rugby. Enter a team that includes yourselves and coaches, even mums, dads and sisters can join in this event (the more the merrier). A team consists of 8 people and you can enter as many teams as you like. Your squad can be any size. Come and get a feel for rugby and have some fun as a family at the same time. Refreshments and food will be on sale
