Broadstreet opted to play with a strong wind in the first half, ‘Street took a rare kick off and started strong with multiple phases before Tom Walker (winger) was on the end of streets first try within 2 mins. Conversion by Lee Chapman 7-0
Again Street caught the restart to play again with well worked phase in till they gave away their first penalty, Bedford kick well into ‘Streets 22 and Bedford scored a well worked try, 7-7
Bedford worked hard to get into the ‘Streets 22 and was rewarded by another penalty, 7-10
‘Street got back into the game with a well-executed try from Ed Boxall, Chapman converted 12-10

It was only until the second half that ‘Street started to play well and they got their rewards when Niall Beckett timed a perfect interception to run 65 metres to go under the posts. Chapman converted the extras 19-10,
Tries started to come thick and fast with the next one being scored by Sam Hollingsworth, a local talent from Coventry, converted by Chapman 26-10
‘Street now playing with confidence had 3 more try's from Jake Byrne, Mike Worthington, both front row forwards and Lee Chapman, all un converted.
Bedford did never say die had some well worked phases but could not score a single point in the second half.
Broadstreet go to local rivals Bees next week so have plenty to work on.
