Do I have to register an account to view the Broadstreet RFC Website ?
No you don't have to register to view the website, however we do recommend rugby club members create an account and register as there are certain articles, forums and website features which are not available to the casual website visitor.
I have attempted to register on the website, however I have not received a confirmation email from the site upon registration ?
The club site is constantly under threat from 'spambots' we have had to put into place certain checks upon registration to prevent users posting all over the place links to Russian and many other countries sites which attempt to corrupt the mind of a clean living rugby player. We have taken the decision to prevent corruption of these clean rugby player minds. In all seriousness the site registration process requires entering a safety 'CAPTCHA' which is a graphical image in an attempt to prevent rougue registrations, we also carry out a check on the email address registered in an attempt to prove that the email address is 'Pukka'. This appears to be causing problems with some people who are attempting to register. Another problem is internet service providers (ISP'S) having to contend with large ammounts of email spam. This can result in the confirmation email being logged by the email owners ISP or users email client as 'Spam' please check that your confirmation email hasn't been flagged as spam.
