21st Birthday Celebrations

Your 21st Birthday is a very special occasion generally marked in the UK with a birthday party. Your 21st Birthday should be celebrated with a bang. Parents are often cautious and don't like the idea of inviting all of these party revellers to your house for fear of the guests making a mess or damaging the property.

Its quite normal for a family home to not offer the atmosphere of the night club ambiance that the your children often want. Here at the Ivor Preece Centre in Coventry we understand what is important for a successful party. Some of this understanding requires complience with our centre rules.

Bringing Drink Into The Party

You can not bring your own alchohol into the centre, it cant be done and we do search guests if we think it is happening.

Proof Of Age

The centre is very keen to prevent under age drinking, the laws are very tight on the consumption of alcohol by young people while on licensed premises and we are obliged to enforce these laws at all times. Please advise all guests who look under the age of 25 that ID will be required, no ID no Alchohol.

Doorman

We charge £70 per licensed Doorman and require One for up to 70 guests, Two doorman are required for over 70 guests. These doorman will help to make the evening enjoyable and safe for all.

Drugs

If we discover drug use going on within the centre then the party will be closed without fail, if we suspect drug use then we will also be forced to consider closing the party.

Returnable Damage Sickness Deposit

We charge a £200 deposit against damage and sickness. We are really sorry to have to do this but experience shows us that it is needed on occasion and it is far better to be totally clear from the start. If there are no problems then it is returned in full at the end of the party, BUT we will deduct £20 each time our staff have to clear up any sick and will deduct the full costs of any extra cleaning of chairs etc, so please look after the centre.

The Ivor Preece Centre retains the right to close the party if these terms and not complied with. If the party is closed by us for any reason - no refund will be given
