Club Captain

As you know the nominations for Club Captain 2009/2010 can now be posted on the Broadstreet Street Talk Senior Blog.  If you are interested in nominating or putting your name forward please bear the following in mind.

Responsibilities:

·         Be the link between all of the clubs senior and colts teams

·         Mix amongst all the teams and encourage the teams and players to do the same

·         Be available to attend players disciplinary hearings

·         Be an active committee member

·         Be the link between the committee and the players

·         Report  back to the committee when required

·         Lead and guide a team to run the  social side of the club

·         Assist in organising tours

·         Overview and assist in the fund raising efforts for tours etc.

·         Show your face  occasionally on a Sunday for the M & J's

·         Be available for trophy presentations, M&J,  Broadstreet Shield etc

·         Top Table duties at the Annual Dinner & Dance including the Captains Award

·         Attend Mid-Warwickshire & Warwickshire functions and events when required

·         Be visible as much as possible at all club events from training to club nights and available after games for the members/supporters and to engage the opposition after games.

The Club Captain demands responsibility and extra effort, yet commands respect. In many ways you are the heart of the club, if you are proud of our great club and are willing to accept the honour and challenge - make it known!
