Stewart Pearl Signs For Broadstreet RFC
Broadstreet RFC are pleased to announce the signing of 33 year old Hooker Stewart Pearl. Stewart's rugby CV reads like a who's who of midlands rugby featuring the well-known names of Stourbridge RFC, Rugby Lions RFC, Coventry RFC, Birmingham and Solihull RFC, Worcester Warriors RFC also including Cambridge RFC and Plymouth Albion RFC along the way. A league and Cup winner with Rugby Lions, Stewart also played in the Bill Beaumont Cup for Devon against Yorkshire. He's looking forward to taking up a Player Coach role with the Street helping the club achieve its current goals.
Director of Rugby Paul Harcourt says Stewart will be a great asset to the club, bringing a wealth of experience of playing at the higher levels. He's been primed to assist new Head Coach Lee Cassell and Forwards Coach Paul Hurst for the coming season.
I am sure that Stewart and Lee will both be pleased by the turnout for the start of Pre Season training tonight Tuesday 2nd July. Its a 7 o'clock start so make sure that you have trainers, boots and plenty of water and energy. See you there.
