South Leicester are in a mid table position in Midlands 1 following their narrow home defeat by Kettering RFC last weekend, whilst we enjoyed a suberb victory away at Hinckley RFC 33-15, where despite the end to end nature of the game, we never looked like loosing. The England Deaf rugby team will play two internationals at Broadstreet RFC near Coventry this season. England have chosen Broadstreet's impressive facilities at the Ivor Preece Field in Binley Woods for their matches against Wales on February 3 and Scotland on March 9. Both games will kick off at 1pm. The England Deaf Rugby Union was formed in 2003 to give deaf and hard of hearing players the opportunity to represent their country. New England RU Counties XV coach Ben Ryan has committed himself and his team to a brand of rugby that removes blinkers and shackles when his team face Tunisia at Broadstreet tomorrow (June 3, 2pm).
