Local rivals Nuneaton RFC have recruited sensibly over the close season with a couple of  new players from Bedworth RFC, most notable aquesition is Richard Moore, who returns to Nuneaton frm Leicester Lions RFC also having had spells at Market Bosworth RFC, Coventry RFC and Rugby Lions RFC along the way. Richard was injured for part of last season, however made 20 Starts for Leicester Lions in the season where they challenged for promotion in National 2 North.

Nuneaton made a strong start to this season with a substantial 73 -14 victory over Kenilworth RFC in the first round of the Warwickshire Cup.

Nuneaton's 2nd XV also take part in the Midlands West Reserve League Division One so feature reguarly on the Broadstreet fixture list.
