In accordance with the rules of the Club the Nomination forms for the positions of Club Chairman, Club Officers and General Committee members have been posted on the notice boards at both Rugby Road and Henley Road clubhouses. These will remain posted until the 5th May 2015, 7 days before the AGM. All nominations must be proposed and seconded and the person nominated must countersign their nomination to indicate that they are prepared to stand. . .
Annual General Meeting 2015 NOTICE: BROADSTREET RFC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at the Rugby Road clubhouse on Tuesday 12th May 2015 @ 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start. Members are reminded that any resolutions or changes to the rules must be proposed & seconded and submitted to the Club’s Honorary Secretary (R. Harcourt) by Wednesday 15th April 2015. Broadstreet Rugby Football Club travelled to sunny Dillingham Park, Bedfordshire to take on title chasers Ampthill plus a plethora of whistle, made this a frustrating, dis-jointed affair, writes Bob Harcourt. Ampthill opened the game and kicked deep into ‘Street territory. As ever, number eight Jack Gibbons fielded and with the aid of his fellow forwards, made ground to halfway. Ampthill were awarded a couple of baffling penalties at rucks; an area of the game that, together with scrummaging, was to prove frustrating with contradictory interpretation throughout.
