You've chosen the Ivor Preece Centre as you wedding venue, you know which of our wedding package’s that you want and you're ready to go, but you're finding that the costs are still coming in over your budget.
The only way to cut those costs is to make some changes. Here are few ideas to help ease the cost of that all so special wedding day.
- A Late marriage ceremony with an evening reception will give you a shorter day, The shorter the day, the less you have to pay for.
- A seated buffet instead of a full silver service meal is a dramatic way to cut your wedding catering costs and so your overall reception costs.
- Use our wedding planner to manage your budget. Give them the amount and ask them to recommend ways of sticking to it. You'll be surprised at what they can come up with.
- Choose a good cava for the toast as it's a quarter of the price of champagne,your guests probably won't even notice the difference
- Many weddings have a sit down meal in the afternoon or early evening, followed by a buffet for the evening guests. There's always plenty left over after these later buffets, so perhaps consider reducing the amount of food served or not having one at all!
- Maybe one of the couple is a little arty, you could make your own wedding favours, baking heart-shaped biscuits and wrapping them in ribbon and cellophane
Even if you manage to arrange your ceremony inside of your budget, there can be a fear that something could go wrong. Some couples take out special insurance to cover them against a cancellation or rearrangement of the wedding or reception. You can also include options in these policies will be cover for clothes, gifts, rings, cars, flowers, photos and legal expenses.
