Old Leamingtonians 2nd XV 10
Broadstreet 3rd XV 50
Friendly Match
Business As Usual
Broadstreet hit 50 points for the 10th time this season as they travelled to Old Leams for this friendly match. With Broadstreet fielding a makeshift front row after 5 hooker / props were unavailable for selection it was the home side that caused the game to start with passive scrums. Broadstreet ran in 8 tries with impressive front row James Taberer scoring a brace for his first of the season. Paul Lydster returned to scoring ways as he went over twice for a brace, Andrew Hirons, Stu Crawford and Ethan Griffiths all getting singles for the second week running. 1st Team coach Mick “the Munch” Curtis making a guest appearance also got in on the action with a try, Danny Rowstron kicking 5 conversions. The young back row duo of Ethan Griffiths and Collum Berry continue to excel with consistent fine displays.
